Kansai Gaming Party 2024 (KGP2024) will feature a trial version of Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact. The event will take place from May 4 to 5, 2024, at the Misono Universe venue in Osaka, Japan.
Last month, Bushiroad Games confirmed that the game will also be playable at EVO Japan 2024. This announcement followed the game’s initial reveal in December 2023 and a subsequent teaser trailer in January 2024. The gameplay footage hinted at possible 3v3 fighting mechanics or team elements. With the announcement that Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact will be a 2D fighting game, players worldwide are interested in playing.
Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact Will Arrive To KGP2024
Players attending Kansai Gaming Party 2024 can play the game throughout the event’s weekend. On both May 4 and May 5, the playable times will be from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm JST. Keep in mind that the start and end times of these trial sessions will be different from the holding time of the KGP2024 event. There is no information on which characters will be playable at the moment.
Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact will be a 2D fighting game instead of a 3D arena fighter. On Bushiroad’s website, the company revealed that the genre of the game is “2D fighting”. Many fans speculated the game was a 3D arena fighter because of the setup of the teaser trailer. Eighting, the developers of DNF Duel and Marvel vs Capcom 3, will be developing this game. Their other titles include the series of Naruto: Clash of Ninja, Bleach: Heat the Soul, and Tatsunoko vs Capcom.
Lastly, the game has been announced to release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. No other platforms have been announced as of yet, but stay tuned for more information here at Final Weapon.
