    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Includes New Shinjuku Area

    SEGA and ATLUS revealed new details about Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, including a new Shinjuku area and a top-down feature. In addition, a new video highlighting the RPG’s new demon battle skills was released. 

    The release date of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance was moved up by a week to June 14, encouraging a lot of excitement for longtime fans. As discussed by ATLUS, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance features the new Canon of Vengeance story, new demons, additional features, and previously released DLC from the original Shin Megami Tensei V. The second official trailer also confirmed a new Nahobino form alongside a new dungeon and slew of additional quests.

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Invites Players to Shinjuku

    In Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, players can explore a new Shinjuku area, which features more Miman and secrets to uncover. Once more, trading in these Miman at the Cadaver’s Hollow will net Nahobino various rewards.

    A new free camera setting will be available in the game, allowing Nahobino to interact with their demons. What’s more, a new top-down feature reminisce of overworld exploration in older Shin Megami Tensei titles.

    Additionally, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will feature frame rate settings on PC via Steam and Windows. These settings support 30 FPS to 144 FPS. An unlocked frame rate option will be available on PC as well (Thanks, @MbKKssTBhz5).

    ATLUS also confirms that Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will feature 270 demons. A new Battle Skills Introduction video was released to showcase what some of the demons are capable of. New screenshots can be found at the game’s updated official website

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance “premium play experience” demo event will be held on May 3 and May 4 in Japan. Attendees may play up to six hours of the game’s new scenario. Applications for players in Japan were available until March 31 at 23:59 JST. The minimum age to sign-up was 18. 

    Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on June 14 worldwide. The game is available to pre-order now digitally for in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam for $59.99. In addition, physical pre-orders are available now at participating retailers.
