    Ninja Slayer Manga Getting Video Game Adaptation

    The first game adaption for Ninja Slayer.

    A recently opened website has revealed that the Ninja Slayer manga will be receiving a video game adaptation. KADOKAWA Game Linkage, Skeleton Crew Studio, and ABC Animation will be developing the game for a Steam release in summer 2024.

    Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez initially wrote the Ninja Slayer novel in 2012. Kadokawa released a manga adaptation a year later. Both series are still going to this day. Additionally, an anime adaptation released in 2015. The upcoming game will be its first foray into the medium.

    According to a newly surfaced website, Ninja Slayer will be receiving a video game adaptation for Steam. The game, titled Ninja Slayer: Neo-Saitama In Flames, will release in Summer 2024. Anime News Network describes the game as a “side-scrolling ‘high-speed ninja action’ game,” “which adapts the first manga’s final arc of the same title.” Check out the first promo for the upcoming game below:

    The original manga series is available for purchase at several local and online retailers. Crunchyroll describes it as follows:

    The Neo Saitama of the future is a sprawling urban landscape constantly flooded by neon light. And in its shadows lurks a vast criminal world filled with all sorts of shady characters. Among them are the deadliest force known to humanity…ninjas! These merciless warriors lord over the cityscape with their overwhelming karate, influencing the private and public sectors equally. But their time is about to come to an end. A force known as Ninja Slayer is determined to rid this world of Ninjas, and he’s willing to go through heaven or hell to do so.

    Lastly, Ninja Slayer: Neo-Saitama In Flames will launch on Steam in Summer 2024. It will be available in Japanese, English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Portuguese. KADOKAWA Game Linkage, Skeleton Crew Studio, and ABC Animation will likely reveal more details in the coming weeks and months.
