    Like a Dragon Developer RGG Studio Teases Announcement on April 1

    April Fools, or a major surprise?

    SEGA and Like a Dragon developer Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio tease that an “important announcement” will be made on April 1 during a Ryusta TV livestream. The stream will also contain information regarding new Like a Dragon merchandise. 

    As discussed in Final Weapon’s review of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the latest Like a Dragon entry is well worth the hype as one of 2024’s best games. Many fans showed up for the launch, helping Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth become the fastest selling game in the franchise. The future after Infinite Wealth is unknown to fans, but RGG Studio may be preparing for share information on what’s to come. 

    RGG Studio Teases Important Announcement on April 1

    April 1 is a significant date for the Like a Dragon franchise, since Yakuza: Like a Dragon was initially unveiled as a April Fools day prank in 2019. Similarly enough, it appears that RGG Studio will make an “important announcement” on April 1 at 7:00 a.m. EST during the 29th episode of Ryusta TV. Fans may tune in on YouTube and NicoNico

    In the meantime, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth patch 1.18 is now available with free celebratory t-shirts. These t-shirts celebrate the latest sales milestone for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth at over one million copies sold. Some of the t-shirts reference past games such as Yakuza: Like a Dragon (Like a Dragon 7) and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

    Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a Steam Deck verified title. As a result, the game is fully functional on the handheld with the default controller configuration, Steam Deck controller icons, a suitable in-game text scaling, and the default graphics configuration. 

    Lastly, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
