Game Informer Opens Standalone Print Magazine Subscription

This week, Game Informer officially announced its all-new magazine subscription service. You can now purchase directly from the website, and 10 copies will arrive in your mailbox throughout the year.

A one-year subscription costs $19.91 and includes ten magazines released throughout the year. Two year subscriptions are also available, priced at $35. Gift subscriptions are also available, so you can sign up a family member, friend, or colleague. Digital copies of each magazine are also included, so you can read on the go.

In a blog post, Editor-in-Chief Matt Miller stated, “Requests for an easy, no-frills way to get a print magazine subscription are (by far) the number one request we hear from you, and that’s what we’re delivering today.”

Before this announcement, you had to purchase copies of the Game Informer magazine either at a physical GameStop store or through GameStop’s website. This is mainly due to GameStop being Game Informer’s parent company. However, it made it challenging to purchase physical magazines and left uncertainty on whether or not purchases benefit the website.

We’re all for supporting one another in this industry, and seeing physical media continue is something we’d all like to strive for. If you’re interested in picking up a one or two-year subscription to Game Informer, head over to the Game Informer website for more details.
