    Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2 Confirmed

    The staff for the recently released Tales of Wedding Rings anime announced that the series will be getting a season 2. It is unknown when the new season will premiere, however, the staff from the first season will be returning.

    Crunchyroll and Yen Press initially published the first issue of Tales of Wedding Rings in 2014. The series is still ongoing to this day. Staple Entertainment will be producing the anime with Crunchyroll licensing it. The first season began airing in early January 2024, with a dubbed version releasing not long afterwards.

    During AnimeJapan 2024, the staff of the recently released Tales of Wedding Rings series confirmed that season 2 is in development. They also revealed a new key visual (which you can check out above) and announced that Miyu Tomita will join the cast as Morion. The staff from the anime’s first season will be returning.     Crunchyroll has the entire first season available on their website. They describe the series as follows:

    Sato is a high school boy in love with his best friend Hime, an unearthly beauty from another realm. So when she moves back to her home world to get married, Sato doesn’t think twice—he follows her and crashes the wedding. Then, after a kiss from Hime, he suddenly becomes the new groom! But here, Hime is a Ring Princess and her husband is destined to be the Ring King: a hero of immense power.

    Lastly, both the subbed and dubbed versions of Tales of Wedding Rings season 1 are available now on Crunchyroll. Season 2 will release sometime in the future. The anime’s staff will likely reveal more details in the coming months.
