SEGA and ATLUS announce a preview demo event for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be held on May 3 and May 4 in Japan. Attendees will be able to try out the new Canon of Vengeance story at the event.
The release date of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance was moved up by a week to June 14, encouraging a lot of excitement for longtime fans. As discussed by ATLUS, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance features the new Canon of Vengeance story, new demons, additional features, and previously released DLC from the original Shin Megami Tensei V.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Demo Event
According to the official Megaten ATLUS Twitter account and latest ATLUS blog post, a Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance “premium play experience” demo event will be held on May 3 and May 4 in Japan. Attendees may play up to six hours of the game’s new scenario. Applications for players in Japan only are available until March 31 at 23:59 JST. The minimum age to sign-up is 18.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on June 14 worldwide. The game is available to pre-order now digitally for in the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam for $59.99. In addition, physical pre-orders are available now at participating retailers, including Amazon (affiliate) and Best Buy.
Lastly, the Digital Deluxe Edition is available to pre-order right now for $69.99 featuring Mitama Dance of Wealth, Mitama Dance of EXP, Mitama Dance of Miracles, Sakura Cinders of the East, and Holy Will and Profane Dissent. As previously announced, the Sakura Cinders of the East DLC includes Konohana Sakuya, and the Holy Will and Profane Dissent DLC features Dagda from Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse.
