Bandai Namco Filmworks and Sunrise have revealed a new teaser trailer, the staff, and a new key visual for the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam Silver Phantom VR anime project. This new Gundam experience will be available on Meta Quest devices.
The Gundam franchise continues to be one of the leading multimedia projects of Japan, with recent works including Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance, Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G Urðr-Hunt, and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom. Mobile Suit Gundam Silver Phantom is the next new Gundam project, and it’s a completely original VR anime. It will feature a new story that takes place in the Universal Century 0096, according to the latest trailer.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Silver Phantom is an interactive cinematic story that provides fans with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Gundam series in a new way and brand new story.
Until now, the details about this experience, including the story and the period setting, have been kept secret. However, with the release of this teaser, the curtain has been lifted to reveal that the story takes place in the Universal Century 0096. It includes battle scenes in outer space, where mobile suits familiar to the fanbase are visible, and pilot characters are introduced, raising expectations as to how they will be involved in the story.
