Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO revealed new characters in the latest V Jump magazine. A new trailer called “Power vs Speed” will also be coming soon.
So far this year, Bandai Namco revealed a new trailer for Sparking ZERO and screenshots showing Super Saiyan God Goku. With the game’s release date still unknown, players continue to be hungry for more information about it. Here are the details of the latest news announcement from V Jump magazine.
The New Characters Coming to Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO
New V Jump scans from DBS Hype reveal that new characters are coming soon. Here is a list of the characters that were shown:
- Broly (DBS) Full Power
- Super Trunks
- Nappa
- Burter
- Toppo
- Kale (Legendary Super Saiyan)
- Master Roshi
- Hit
- Jeice
- Dyspo
- Kakunsa

Bandai Namco will showcase these characters in the upcoming trailer “Power vs Speed”. No date has been revealed for the trailer’s release, but stay tuned for that information here at Final Weapon.
Additionally, this will be Kakunsa’s first appearance in a Dragon Ball game. Characters like Bergamo and Kakunsa open the door for many other Dragon Ball Super characters to come in. 164 characters will be in the game at launch, so click here to see who else has been confirmed.
Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO is a new entry in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series. This game seeks to introduce heart-pounding, high-speed 3D battles that closely mirror the intense action seen in the anime and previous video game adaptations. The game was first announced in March 2023, sparking much excitement in the hearts of Dragon Ball fans.
Lastly, Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
