Alliance Arts and Unknown X announced that Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost will finally launch on September 5 worldwide for Nintendo Switch. The Switch version will feature touchscreen support in a new mode, similar to the original mobile version.
Although Touhou Danmaku Kagura ended service in October 2022, the game returns as Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost for Nintendo Switch and PC. It was rebuilt for PC and console play with a brand-new storyline, new content, and additional features. Fans also have access to several Touhou musical arrangements across four difficulty levels, including an all-new track from ZUN and Toby Fox.
In the west, players may purchase the digital Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost Standard, Deluxe, and Gensokyo: Memorial Digital Archive Editions. The Deluxe Edition includes the game and four Extra Song Packs, and the Gensokyo: Memorial Digital Archive Edition includes the Deluxe Edition, a digital artbook, and the digital original soundtrack.

Toby Fox and ZUN composed an original track for Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost titled “U.N. Owen Was Hero?”. The track features cover art by Temmie Chang, who was the main illustrator for the popular Undertale RPG by Toby Fox.
