Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is one of the most highly anticipated titles in recent memory. The game is set to offer an expansive world and a story you won’t forget anytime soon. Early access is something that might sound enticing if you’re excited for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
However, not all games offer this feature. We’ve compiled everything you need to know about Rebirth and playing early below.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Early Access – Is It Available?
Unfortunately, Square Enix did not provide an option for early access with this brand-new title. There are three different editions of the game: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition. None of these come with perks of early access, which can be disappointing for those looking to get their hands on the game as soon as possible.
The game will launch on Thursday, February 29, worldwide. For players in the United States, you can expect the game to unlock at 12 AM EDT on February 29.
Those opting to purchase a physical copy of the game will be able to pick it up at a retailer starting on February 29. Amazon and other online merchants will ship the game out for release day unless otherwise stated.
How to Play Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Early
Luckily, there is a way that you can experience the next chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake Project early through a digital copy. This can be done by creating a New Zealand PlayStation Network (PSN) Account and then pre-ordering the game through this new account. This can be done by following the below steps:
- Awake your PlayStation 5 Console and select New User at the launch screen.
- Accept the agreement and select “Create an Account” for the PSN field.
- Create a New PSN account and select New Zealand as your region.
- To load your wallet, you can purchase New Zealand PSN gift cards through online retailers.
- Once you have a wallet with $135NZD in it, you can purchase Final Fantasy VII Rebirth!
With a New Zealand code, you gain an additional sixteen hours of early access that anyone on US PSN does not have access to. This is truly the only way you’ll be able to play the title early, but it is worth it if you truly want those extra hours!
