Aniplex revealed a new key visual for the NieR: Automata Ver1.1a anime’s second cour and confirmed a 2024 premiere window. The second cour picks up directly after the events of episode 12, which premiered last July.
NieR: Automata Ver1.1a made its debut on January 7, 2023 as an anime adaptation of NieR: Automata game with additional scenes & context. Produced by A-1 Pictures, the anime delves into the stories of YoRHa androids 2B, 9S, and A2 in a dystopian Earth taken over by machine lifeforms. The first cour ran until July 23, 2023, due to various production delays.
