The March 2024 issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene magazine confirms that the Touken Ranbu Warriors game will receive an official manga adaptation. Nashinoki will illustrate the manga, and DMM Games and Nitroplus are in charge of the manga’s story.
The Touken Ranbu series is busy in 2024 with various stage plays and the new Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyoden Moyuru Honnōji anime series. Just two years ago, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force teamed up with DMM Games, Nitroplus, and Ruby Party to release the Touken Ranbu Warriors game worldwide. Fans who want to re-experience the story may now keep up with the new manga series.
Touken Ranbu Warriors Manga Gets New Chapters “Every Other Month”
Nashinoki’s Touken Ranbu Warriors manga will be serialized “every other month” in Monthly Comic Gene. The first chapter will release on March 15. To commemorate the announcement, Nashinoki shared new artwork on their Twitter account:
Recently, the voice cast and staff of the Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyoden Moyuru Honnōji anime was revealed. Takuya Satō plays both Kōsetsu Samonji and Shokudaikiri Mitsutada in the anime, and Ayumu Murase plays Sayo Samonji. In addition, Sōma Saitō plays both Namazuo Tōshirō and Tsurumaru Kuninaga, while Atsushi Tamaru plays Ichigo Hitofuri.

The Touken Ranbu Kyoden Moyuru Honnōji stage play follows follows Fudō Yukimitsu, the (anthropomorphized) sword that real-life legendary leader Oda Nobunaga received from his attendant Mori Ranmaru.
Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyoden Moyuru Honnōji will air on April 2 on Tokyo MX, BS11, and more Japanese TV networks.
