The official website for the upcoming Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyoden Moyuru Honnōji anime has revealed that it will air on April 2. Further, the website has also revealed more members of the series’ cast.
Touken Ranbu Moyuru Honnōji is a stage play that initially began in 2016. The stage play is based on the Touken Ranbu browser game from 2015. The game released worldwide in 2021. Further, a Warriors adaptation of the game is also available. The anime’s staff will likely reveal more about the upcoming release in the coming months leading up to its premiere.
Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyoden Moyuru Honnōji Airing in April
Recently, the official website for the upcoming Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyoden Moyuru Honnōji anime revealed more members of the series’ cast. Takuya Satō plays both Kōsetsu Samonji
and Shokudaikiri Mitsutada and Ayumu Murase plays Sayo Samonji. Further, Sōma Saitō plays both Namazuo Tōshirō and Tsurumaru Kuninaga, while Atsushi Tamaru plays Ichigo Hitofuri. The website also confirms that the first episode of the anime will air on April 2.

The Touken Ranbu Kyoden Moyuru Honnōji stage play follows follows Fudō Yukimitsu, the (anthropomorphized) sword that real-life legendary leader Oda Nobunaga received from his attendant Mori Ranmaru.
The latest entry in the long-running Touken Ranbu series is Touken Ranbu Warriors, a Musou spin-off by Koei Tecmo, Omega Force, and Ruby Party. Touken Ranbu Warriors is available now for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam worldwide, and a free demo is available now.
Lastly, Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyoden Moyuru Honnōji will air on April 2. It will be available on Tokyo MX, BS11, and more at 9 AM EDT/6 AM PDT. At the time of writing, the anime’s staff have not yet confirmed the series’ Western distributor.
