Ryu’s Office announced the INDIE Live Expo 2024 showcase will take place on Saturday, May 25. This will be the first of various INDIE Live Expo events happening throughout the year.
INDIE Live Expo accumulated 98.7 million views ever since its debut in 2020, and 2023 continued the event’s momentum with several announcements and updates on brand-new games. For example, INDIE Live Expo Winter 2023 revealed updates on several titles, including TSURUGIHIME, Fight Crab 2, and Boyhood’s End. In 2024, fans can expect even more updates as the gaming industry prepares for a busy summer.
INDIE Live Expo 2024 Showcase Opens Game Submissions
The May 2024 INDIE Live Expo showcase will be the 10th INDIE Live event. To commemorate the upcoming event, an all-new logo was unveiled:
Like last year’s INDIE Live Expo event, the May 2024 showcase will be broadcasted in English, Japanese, and Chinese. Viewers can expect the return of the rapid-fire “INDIE Waves” segment, which features short-form content updates for a variety of games. INDIE Live Expo will also delve into a new local indie scene in the returning “Indie Studios Around the World” segment.
Moreover, Ryu’s Office confirm that game submissions for indie developers and publishers are now open until Monday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m. PDT / 10:00 p.m. EDT. Registration is free for up to one game per organization. This includes the reveal of a new project, news for an upcoming title, major updates for previously released games, or a sale on digital platforms like Steam or Nintendo eShop.
