The official website for Sound Euphonium 3 confirms the artists that will performing the season’s opening and ending theme songs. The beloved anime’s third season will air on April 6.
Sound Euphonium is a Kyoto-Animation-produced anime initially released in 2015. It focuses on the story of the young protagonist, Kumiko, who hopes to join her new school’s brass band club. A theatrical movie that adapts the “Ensemble Contest Arc” was released just one month before season 3’s first footage was released. The anime’s staff confirmed the premiere date for season 3 earlier this month.
Sound Euphonium 3 Opening and Ending Artists Revealed
The official website for Sound Euphonium 3 has revealed the series’ opening and theme song artists. TRUE will perform the OP, “ReCoda.” The “Kitauji Quartet” will perform the ED song “Onshoku no Kanata” (Beyond the Timbre). Sound! Euphonium 3‘s first episode will air on NHK Educational on April 7. Further, the anime’s first two episodes will screen in Tokyo on March 16 and in Kyoto on March 17.
The distributor for the series is currently unknown, however, it will likely be available on Crunchyroll. The streaming service describes the series as follows:
Spring in the first year of high school. Kumiko, a member of the brass band in junior high school, visits the high school brass band club with classmates Hazuki and Sapphire. There, she comes across Reina, her former classmate from junior high. Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, but Kumiko can’t make up her mind. She recollects her experience with Reina at a competition in junior high school.
