Microsoft announced that Activision Blizzard games are coming to the Xbox Game Pass service starting March 28 with Diablo IV. The company also reaffirmed that Xbox Game Pass will not be coming to additional platforms.
Diablo IV is the first Activision Blizzard game to be featured on Xbox Game Pass following the company’s acquisition by Microsoft. Currently, Xbox Game Pass has 34 million subscribers around the world, according to Microsoft Gaming president Sarah Bond. Millions of subscribers will have instant access to Diablo IV and many other games going forward, which could potentially include yearly Call of Duty titles.
Diablo IV and Other Activision Blizzard Games on Xbox Game Pass
Since the acquisition of Activision Blizzard is now complete, Microsoft is able to bring the company’s games to Xbox Game Pass. Diablo IV will come first on March 28, and Microsoft did not confirm any other Activision titles coming to the service yet. Xbox Game Pass is not coming to non-Xbox platforms according to head of Xbox Phil Spencer, so subscribers can only expect Diablo IV to be playable on PC and Xbox via the service.

So now the 34 million Game Pass members can all enjoy the fantastic experience of Diablo IV.”
