Granblue Fantasy: Relink Surpasses One Million Copies Sold

One million copies in twelve days.

Cygames announced tonight that Granblue Fantasy: Relink has surpassed a total of one million copies sold in 11 days since release. This is across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. For a series that has yet to release an RPG on consoles, this is amazing news and should further fund more titles.

The developer also teased that updates are planned for the future! While the extent of this was not confirmed, we expect more characters, quests, and potentially even new story content could be on the table.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink follows the crew of the Grandcypher as they travel into the Zegagrande Skydom. There, new allies and enemies await, with a handful of different islands to visit throughout the game’s ~20-hour story mode. Almost two dozen characters are available to play as, which makes combat a joy and keeps things fresh. Relink offers an incredible visual art style that almost resembles a painting as you navigate through its world.

We gave the game a 3.5/5 in our review, stating that while its combat is incredible, the story falls short, and the title doesn’t have enough substantial side content. Any fan of Granblue is sure to have a blast, but newcomers, be aware the title might not offer substantial content beyond the quests and story mode.

As the first main entry into the console RPG space for Granblue, you’ll find everything you need to understand the series and hop right into it. We recommend playing with friends for a shared experience, taking down all sorts of enemies, including large, extravagant boss battles.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Stay tuned for guides coverage coming within the next few days here at Final Weapon.
