Nihon Falcom announced Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 launches on May 23. The PS4 and PS5 versions of Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana will be available physically and digitally in Japan, just like the Nintendo Switch release.
In Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana, players may switch between “refine” and original versions of the game’s illustrations at any time. Additionally, the remaster includes enhanced sound effects and background music, HD textures, and the fan-favorite high-speed mode often found in Ys and Trails games. These same features will be available in the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions.
Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana for PS4 and PS5
Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana lands on PS4 and PS5 on May 23 in Japan, almost exactly one year after the Traditional Chinese and Korean Nintendo Switch releases. Like the Nintendo Switch release, the physical PS4 and PS5 copies will have a reversible cover for the old and new covers.
First-print copies include a reprint of “Music from Ys III” soundtrack, which includes the soundtrack of Wanderers from Ys (Ys III) for PC-8801. Digital purchases between May 23 and June 19 will also have the digital version of this soundtrack according to the official website.
While playing the remaster, players have three in-game BGM sound settings to switch between: the “Original Version” from the PC version of Ys: The Oath in Felghana, the “PC-8801 Version,” and the “X68000 Version.”
Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is available now for Nintendo Switch with Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean language options. Visit Final Weapon’s extensive coverage of Falcom RPGs below:
