Nintendo of America has announced that the upcoming Splatoon 3 story DLC, Side Order, will launch on February 22. It will be available to those who have purchased the game’s $24.99 expansion pass.
Side Order is a major story expansion focused on Pearl and Marina from Splatoon 2. The DLC will be available for those who have already purchased the Splatoon 3 expansion. Additionally, you can get free access to the DLC if you have the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. Recently, Splatoon 3 held a new Splatfest themed around the Winter season. Splatoon 3 Side Order Launching Next Month
Nintendo of America recently revealed that Splatoon 3 Side Order will launch on February 22. The expansion was initially slated for Spring 2024. The new release date means that players will be able to enjoy the latest adventure into the Splatoon universe sooner than expected. To commemorate the announcement, Nintendo released a new key visual (that you can check out above) and trailer. Check out the new trailer below:
Splatoon 3: Side Order will feature the return of Agent 8, Pearl, and Marina from Splatoon 2. A previous trailer also hints at the existence of a new character named Acht. The gameplay of Side Order appears to have rogue-lite elements. Before every level, players can pick a specific gameplay modification that makes the stage easy, medium, or hard difficulty. The harder the difficulty, the more rewards you’ll get by beating it.
