2K has announced that WWE 2K24 will launch on March 8, 2024. The company has revealed the first trailer for the upcoming game. They’ve also confirmed that “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes will star on the standard edition cover, and that Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley will feature on the deluxe edition cover.
WWE 2K is a beloved franchise that allows fans to play as wrestling superstars throughout history. 2K24 is special in that it will launch a few weeks before the WWE has its fortieth Wrestlemania. As such, it will include several new modes and features to mark the occasion.
WWE 2K24 Releasing in March, First Trailer Revealed
On Monday, January 22, 2K released the first trailer for WWE 2K24. The trailer confirms that superstar Cody Rhodes will star on the game’s standard edition, while Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley will star on the game’s deluxe edition. The trailer all the superstars mentioned above, alongside current and previous WWE champions such as Roman Reigns, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Undertaker. WWE 2K24 includes several features and modes. It includes a mode celebrating forty years of Wrestlemania, a massive roster, new match types like guest referee, casket, gauntlet, and ambulance, MyRise, MyFaction, Universe Mode, and MyGM. According to the game’s Steam page, WWE 2K24‘s deluxe edition includes the following:
- Deluxe Edition Bonus Pack featuring Gold MyFACTION cards and alternate attires for Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair.
- Nightmare Family Pack featuring Undashing Cody Rhodes with his iconic cowl and mask, vintage ‘76 Dusty Rhodes and ‘Superstar’ Billy Graham, Stardust, and an exclusive MyFACTION character of the Mattel ‘Defining Moments’ Bruised Cody Rhodes action figure with Gold MyFACTION card, Dusty Rhodes ’76 MyFACTION card, and Pharaoh Manager card.
- Season Pass featuring five post-launch DLC character packs, including the MyRISE Mega-Boost and Supercharger packs.
Lastly, WWE 2K24 will launch on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on March 8, 2024.
