Square Enix announced that mobile RPG NieR Reincarnation is shutting down on April 29, 2024 globally. The game’s final story chapter will release roughly one month prior on March 28, marking the end of content support for the game.
Square Enix released NieR Reincarnation on February 18, 2021 in Japan for Android and iOS. The game is an action RPG that takes place in the thrilling universe of the NieR franchise. Unfortunately, the game will end service right after its third anniversary in February.
NieR Reincarnation Ending Service and Final Chapter
An official notice for NieR Reincarnation reveals a roadmap of content leading up to the final story chapter of “The People and the World” on March 28. Multiple content updates will be released up to that point, including new quests, Fate Boards, and reprised events. Several in-game campaigns will be held as well, offering various rewards to celebrate the game’s 3rd anniversary in Japan. These rewards and campaigns will be available in the global version as well. On April 29, the game will no longer be available on mobile platforms, and the servers will be taken offline.

We regret to inform you that NieR Re[in]carnation will be ending service with the conclusion of The People and the World.
The final chapter of The People and the World is planned to be released Mar. 28, 2024. The game will run for a month following the final chapter’s release until Apr. 29, 2024 22:00 PST when service will officially end.
