ATLUS and Vanillaware released a new trailer for tactical fantasy RPG Unicorn Overlord. that introduces the basics of exploration. The trailer is narrated by Josef, the Unicorn Overlord protagonist’s mentor.
Revealed as the “rebirth” of tactical fantasy RPGs, Unicorn Overlord combines overworld exploration, a robust combat system, and simulation mechanics. Alain, protagonist and prince of Cornia, is chosen to lead the Liberation Army and return peace to Fevrith. While exploring the world, the protagonist will meet various characters and complete certain activities to help the people of the land.
Unicorn Overlord ‘Josef’s Guide to Exploration’ Trailer
Josef is a holy knight of the fallen kingdom of Cornia and Alain’s mentor. Josef helped form and manage the Liberation Army with Alain. The latest Unicorn Overlord trailer shows how valuable Josef is to the cause, since the old hero grants insight into what Alain must do in exploration.

RPG fans who enjoyed the music from the trailer may look forward to the Unicorn Overlord original soundtrack, which releases on March 8 in Japan. The soundtrack includes a 4-CD set, which includes the opening and ending theme songs. Mitsuhiro Kaneda and Basiscape are composing the soundtrack for Unicorn Overlord. What’s more, the Unicorn Overlord original soundtrack cover art is drawn by Vanillaware illustrator Emika Kida. Pre-orders for the soundtrack are now available at ATLUS’ official Ebten store.
