TOHO Animation released the official opening theme video for the second cour of The Apothecary Diaries anime series. The second cour will begin with the release of The Apothecary Diaries episode 13 on January 6, so fans won’t have to wait much longer.
The Apothecary Diaries anime series made its debut on October 22, 2023. As a two-cour series, fans can expect 24 episodes in total. The first cour ended on December 24, and the second cour begins with Jinshi buying Maomao out of her courtesanship to bring her back to the emperor’s palace. Fans can expect new opening and ending theme songs in the second cour, too.
The Apothecary Diaries 2nd Cour Opening Theme Song
As shown in the new video, Uru will perform the new opening theme song “Ambivalent” in the second cour of The Apothecary Diaries. Moreover, wacci will perform the new ending theme song “Ai wa Kusuri” (Love is Medicine).
