SEGA and ATLUS revealed the opening movie for Persona 3 Reload featuring the new “Full Moon Full Life” track! The release of the opening movie marks one month away from Persona 3 Reload’s launch.
Makoto Yuki, the protagonist of Persona 3 Reload, awakens his Persona shortly after arriving at Gekkoukan High School as a new transfer student. Due to his special abilities, he’s chosen to investigate the Dark Hour and Tartarus as a member of the Special Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S). The remake includes additional side episodes, quality-of-life changes, a revamped soundtrack, and so much more.
Persona 3 Reload Opening Movie and New Theme Song
The new opening movie references the original Persona 3 opening theme song “Burn My Dread” before the protagonist changes the tune to the new Persona 3 Reload opening theme song “Full Moon Full Life” by Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice.

Fans can expect more Persona 3 Reload news on January 25, which is the date of the next full moon. Just a few days later, Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice will both perform at a Persona 3 Reload mini concert on January 31. Persona 3 Reload collaboration events and merchandise information will be unveiled at the concert. Moreover, a select number of people will be invited to the in-person event via lottery.
Persona fans may also look forward to Kotobukiya’s officially licensed scale figure of Elizabeth from Persona 3 Reload. This new figure will release in June 2024, so it will be on shelves roughly four months after the game’s launch. Pre-orders are available now for a limited time in Japan.
Lastly, Persona 3 Reload releases February 2, 2024 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows. Pre-orders for Persona 3 Reload are available right now both physically and digitally.
