Silent Hill 2 remake and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater are listed as 2024 releases in PlayStation’s new “Upcoming Games in 2024” trailer and its dedicated editorial page. Konami did not reveal official release dates for these games, but this could be an early sign of more news and updates to come.
Silent Hill 2 remake is co-developed by Konami and Bloober Team, whereas Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is developed by Konami and Final Fantasy XVI support studio Virtuos. Both of these titles are part of Konami’s initiative to become a major player in the gaming industry once more with a wide variety of IPs.

PlayStation’s “Upcoming Games in 2024” trailer highlights several PS5 games launching this year, such as Foamstars, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Rise of the Ronin. Although Silent Hill 2 remake and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater do not have exact release dates, the trailer also highlighted these games as upcoming 2024 releases for PS5. Konami did not provide any additional details about these games in the trailer or the newly launched editorial page. Moreover, the bottom of the page states that all of the featured titles are “scheduled for release in 2024 at the time of publication.”
