The winter 2024 anime season gets even busier, with the original Pon no Michi mahjong anime series making its debut! Final Weapon has all the details regarding the Pon no Michi anime, including schedules and release dates, the staff, and the voice cast.
Pon no Michi focuses on a high school student named Nashiko Jippensha. After being kicked out of her house, Nashiko learns that the mahjong parlor that her father used to run is now vacant. She fixes the mahjong parlor and turns it into a place where she and her friends can have fun, cook together, enjoy tea, and play mahjong (sometimes!).
Pon no Michi Anime Release Dates and Schedule
The Pon no Michi anime will premiere on January 5 in the “Animeism” block on TBS, MBS, and BS-TBS in Japan, according to the anime’s official website. 12 episodes are expected to be released during this season. An official English release has not been announced yet, however. Kana Nakada feat. Pon no Michi All Stars will perform the opening theme song “Ponpopopon,” while halca perform the ending theme song “Good Luck Waker.”
