Studio Trigger’s new Delicious in Dungeon anime will captivate audiences with intriguing dishes, a grand sense of adventure, and a endearing cast of characters. The Delicious in Dungeon anime will run for two cours (quarters of a year), so here’s everything Final Weapon knows about the full schedule and release dates for upcoming episodes.
Ryōko Kui serialized the Dungeon Meshi (Delicious in Dungeon) manga from 2014 to 2023, and Yen Press is the publisher of the series in the west. An anime adaptation was announced last year as the manga reached its conclusion, with Studio Trigger animating and producing the series for Netflix.
Delicious in Dungeon Anime Release Dates and Schedule
New episodes of Delicious in Dungeon will be released on Thursdays for Tokyo MX in Japan and Netflix worldwide. The first Delicious in Dungeon episode premieres on January 4, 2024 with simuldubs (simultaneous dub releases) in Japanese, English, Indonesian, Thai, Portuguese, Mexican Spanish, Spanish (Spain), French, German, Italian, Arabic, and Hindi. Since the anime will run for two cours, fans can expect 24 episodes with 12 episodes per cour.

What do you get when you cross dungeon adventures and food manga? You get Delicious in Dungeon, where we find our troupe of adventurers on a mission to save their lost team member while figuring out how to survive on the food that the dungeon provides. When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions.
They’re eager to get right back to it, but there’s just one problem: if they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to eat it on the way!
