Capcom‘s free-to-play digital card game, TEPPEN, has just launched its latest expansion, “Absolute Zero”. This new pack introduces characters from the Mega Man Zero and Lost Planet series. Players now have the chance to join a diverse resistance in a frozen world.
“Absolute Zero” follows the events of the “Sigma’s Invasion” pack. In this story, Resident Evil’s Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong land on E.D.N III, a planet filled with dangers from the Lost Planet series. Leon joins the resistance, meeting Ada, who’s now in a Cyber-Elf form based on Mega Man Zero. Together, they aim to free Neo Arcadia from Dr. Weil and Copy X Mk. II, from the Mega Man Zero series.
TEPPEN’s “Absolute Zero” Expansion – The New Updates
Players can enjoy new cards like the Red card “Leon S. Kennedy”, the Green Card “Luka”, and the Purple Card “Cyber-Elf Ada”. Each card has unique abilities to battle foes. The highlight is the legendary Red card “Resistance Hero Zero”. Here’s a look at the card’s stats:

- Effect #1: <When Played> Return the unit in front to the EX Pocket, then deal 2 damage to all enemy units.
- Effect #2: <Energy> Give the enemy Hero -3 Art Point, then gain +1 Attack for each Art Point reduced by this effect.
- Effect #3: <Attacking> Gain +2 Energy Points.
- Effect #4: <When your Hero Art is used> Gain +3 Energy Points.
From December 27 to April 1, players can engage in event quests. These quests allow earning 2024 Medals for past event relics. In February, the Mega Man X quest adds new icons, relics, and the character Vile. A high-difficulty map arrives in March. Plus, the “A New Year Begins” quest offers a chance to gather useful items for deck-building.
The new TEPPEN “Absolute Zero” expansion pack will also provide festivities. Celebrating 4.5 years of TEPPEN, the 4.5 Year Anniversary Pack 1 will be available from January 5 to January 19. This pack offers Secret Cards and EX Skins, including Hiryu for the “Rathalos” Hero. The TEPPEN New Year Cup 2024, from December 29 to January 3, offers prizes based on ranking. Login bonuses throughout the season include “Absolute Zero” Pack Tickets and Secret Spheres.
The New Pack Celebration JEWEL SET, available until January, offers 30 “Absolute Zero” Pack Tickets and 240 Jewels. Other sets are available until April 1. Limited-time BGMs are also for sale in the Soul Shop.
