4Gamer’s year-end developer interviews reveal that Experience is working on a new entry in the Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi series alongside Moncal Fanta: Hero and the Crystal Maiden and a new horror game. It appears that 2024 will be a busy year for Experience according to producer Hajime Chikami.
Experience latest worldwide release was dungeon crawling RPG Mon-Yu: Defeat Monsters And Gain Strong Weapons And Armor. You May Be Defeated, But Don’t Give Up. Become Stronger. I Believe There Will Be A Day When The Heroes Defeat The Devil King, or Mon-Yu for short. The studio is gearing up for a big year in 2024, which includes the English release of horror adventure game Spirit Hunter: Death Mark II on February 15 and Moncal Fanta: Hero and the Crystal Maiden in the first half of the year.
Experience’s New Moncal Fanta and Undernauts RPGs
Producer Hajime Chikami confirms that Experience is aiming to release its new RPG, Moncal Fanta: Hero and the Crystal Maiden, in the first half of 2024. New artwork for was revealed as well.
Moreover, a new entry in the Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi is being planned, so players can expect even more dungeon-crawling action in the future. An untitled horror game is also in the works, and it’s not been confirmed if its related to the Spirit Hunter series.

“After falling behind schedule on its development, we are planning to release our new RPG Moncal Fanta: Hero and the Crystal Maiden, formerly Mawase Moncal Dan, in the first half of coming year. Other than that, we are mainly planning to develop a new entry in the long-silent dungeon RPG series Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi, as well as a horror title.”
Spirit Hunter: Death Mark II launches on February 15, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in the west.
