Following the end of The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 episode 12, Kadokawa announced the anime series will proceed with The Eminence in Shadow Lost Echoes, a new movie! A new key visual was also unveiled.
Daisuke Aizawa’s The Eminence in Shadow light novel series debuted in 2018, and a manga adaptation by Anri Sakano began serialization in Kadokawa’s Comp Ace magazine in 2019. The first season of the anime premiered in October 2022, and the second season ran for 12 episodes starting October 4, 2023. The season finale confirms the anime will continue with Lost Echoes.

Details about The Eminence in Shadow Lost Echoes are scarce, but a new key visual was revealed on the anime series’ official Twitter account. Kadokawa notes that the film explores “Shadow’s path to becoming a powerful figure in the new world.” Check out the new key visual below:
With Season 2 at its end, The Eminence in Shadow anime series has a total of 32 episodes thus far. Fans may also watch the first season of The Eminence in Shadow on HIDIVE right now. A third season has not been announced.

Some people just aren’t suited to playing the part of the flashy, in-your-face hero or the dastardly, mustache-twirling villain with larger-than-life panache.
