Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Dragon Ball Card Warriors, the free mode within Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, has ended online service. The game will still be playable offline, but only against CPU players.
Bandai Namco initially added Card Warriors to DBZ: Kakarot in October 2020. The mode is a collectible card game where players could build their deck and battle online. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an action RPG developed by CyberConnect2. Next year, Bandai Namco will release another Dragon Ball Z game, Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO.
Dragon Ball Card Warriors Ends Online Service
According to the official Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia Twitter/X account, Dragon Ball Card Warriors has ended online service. The transfer function has also been disabled. An offline version of the game will still be playable, where players can compete against the CPU. The mode initially released in October 2020 on all consoles that the base game is available on.
