Sea of Stars is a day one title for PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, so downloads do not count toward sales. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members may redeem and download the game right now at no additional cost. The game is available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 digitally.
Previously, iam8bit will distribute a physical edition of Sea of Stars in early 2024. A new promotional image confirms the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox versions will be released physically. However, the PlayStation 4 version was not confirmed for the physical release. Sabotage Studio confirms that more details will be announced this fall, however. In addition, fans in Europe may look forward to the physical release.
The story of the game is described as follows: “Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by the classics. It tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who will combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.”
Finally, Sea of Stars is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. For those eager to give the game a try, a demo is available now on PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
