An exciting new trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio was revealed at The Game Awards 2023, revealing a fall 2024 launch window. In addition, more details were revealed by ATLUS in a new interview video with Hashino, Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro. More details will arrive in the first Famitsu issue of 2024.

The first Famitsu issue of 2024 includes an 18-page special feature with the latest information about Metaphor: ReFantazio. Readers may also look forward to an interview with Hashino and Soejima. The January 4, 2024 Famitsu issue’s cover was illustrated by Soejima, depicting the protagonist and his fairy companion Gallica. At the end of the recent Metaphor: ReFantazio interview video, Hashino states that he wants to bring the game to fans all around the world. Specifically, Hashino would like to bring a Metaphor: ReFantazio demo to events in countries around the world. This demo would allow players may experience the game’s unique combat system and world for themselves. Moreover, ATLUS Brand 35th World Tour: Road to Metaphor: ReFantazio will be held in 2024, featuring events and new information about the new RPG.
