The official website for the upcoming Vampire Dormitory anime has revealed that the series will premiere in April 2024. A new promo for the series has also been released.
Kodansha and Toyama initially serialized the Vampire Dormitory manga in November 2018. The entire manga series is available both digitally and physically. Studio Blanc has revealed more details about the anime’s distributor and release date.
Vampire Dormitory Airing in April
On the official Vampire Dormitory anime website, a new promo has been released. The trailer confirms that the series will air in April 2024. The website initially announced the anime in October. The anime will be available to watch on Crunchyroll as it airs. Check out the new promo video below:
Nobuyoshi Nagayama will be directing the upcoming anime. Touko Machida will be the series’ writer, while Naomi Tsuruta will be the lead character designer. The anime’s cast and other staff members have not yet been revealed. Emi Toyama initially launched the series in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine in 2018. They released the most recent volume of the manga in June of this year.
The entirety of the manga is available on Kodansha‘s website. They describe the series as follows:
“I’ll do it! I’ll become your thrall!” A crossdressing girl and an obsessive vampire find themselves entangled in a dangerous relationship. A heart-pounding BL-esque romance drama from the award-winning Ema Toyama (Missions of Love, Aoba-kun’s Confessions)!
Mito, who has no family to rely on, lives on the streets, disguised as a boy. Ruka, a vampire, saves her from a perilous situation and makes her an offer: become his subservient thrall from which he can feed whenever he wants, and she can live with him—in the boys’ dorm. Because her very existence depends on her secret not being found out, every day is a new danger—to say nothing of that vampire! Meanwhile, Ruka, not knowing Mito’s a girl, dotes on her night and day in an attempt to ripen her “disgusting male blood,” but when real feelings develop… this dangerous romance between a crossdressing girl and an obsessive vampire begins!
Lastly, the Vampire Dormitory anime will premiere in April 2024. Plenty of exciting anime adaptations are set to release next year, including the long-awaited Konosuba Season 3.
