Bandai Namco announced Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny from the PlayStation Portable is now available for purchase on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Previously, the game available to PlayStation Plus Premium members only.

The PlayStation Plus October 2023 Game Catalog introduced the PSP game into the Classics Catalog, which players may access on PS4 and PS5 with a Premium subscription. The PSP game has been enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, and other useful features. After nearly two months, the game is now available in a standalone capacity.

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny Lands on the PSN Store

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny is available to purchase right now for $9.99 in the PlayStation Store, so PS4 and PS5 players don’t need PS Plus to play it. In fact, the game supports remote play, so those with a PlayStation Portal or smartphone may enjoy the game that way as well. However, the game lacks Versus support.

Experience Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny originally released on the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system, enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.

The Soulcalibur series is a weapon-based fighting game in which characters wage battle with a variety of unique weapons.

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny features the original Gauntlet mode, where players go on an adventure with the characters of Soulcalibur while clearing various missions along the way. The missions are a great way to pick up battle knowledge, techniques, and improve your skills while having fun.

Of course, no Soulcalibur game would be complete without a guest appearance, and this time the special guest is none other than Kratos from the God of War series.

There is also a Character Creation feature, which allows players to create their own original characters with even more customizable parts and options than Soulcalibur IV.

“Chosen by history to be a warrior, then etched into history as a hero.”

Transcending history and the world… enjoy this tale of souls and swords, eternally retold!
