Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc Begins Spring 2024

The next arc premieres in April.

Aniplex announced today that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc will air in Spring 2024. The next arc is not too far away, as we can now expect it to air in April 2024. This arc was announced after the end of the Swordsmith Village Arc back in June 2023.

Similar to both the Entertainment District Arc and the Swordsmith Village Arc, the first episode will have a runtime of one hour. This extended premiere will give you a cinematic viewing experience with the first episode.

Additionally, the first episode will be heading to theaters in advance of the premiere, titled as -To the Hashira Training Arc-. The last episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc and the first episode of the Hashira Training Arc will be combined together for this compilation film premiere. The project has been upscaled and converted to 4K and IMAX picture qualities. If this seems familiar, this is because Aniplex utilized this format for the last two arcs as well, which is called the World Tour. The following dates will air the world tour:

    • Tokyo: February 2-3
    • New York: February 10
    • Seoul: February 11
    • Mexico City / Singapore: February 17
    • Jakarta: February 18
    • Paris / Taipei:February 24
    • London / Hong Kong: February 25

North American theaters will receive the movie starting on February 23, 2024.

The Hashira Training Arc is set to air in Spring 2024. It will most likely air on Crunchyroll, but that has not been confirmed at this time.

Crunchyroll airs the entire Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series. They describe the series as the following: “It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.”
