Exodus, a new title from Archetype Entertainment, was revealed today at The Game Awards 2023. This upcoming title will be a science fiction action-adventure game that will take players on a journey through space. Additionally, the game will star Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey, marking his first appearance in a video game.
There is no release date as of writing, although the game will apparently arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Unfortunately, those who want to know when the game will release will have to wait longer.
Exodus World Premiere Trailer
It appears that Exodus will have a strong focus on narrative. Time Dilation will have a huge impact on how the game’s story plays out in combination with the player’s choices. Every decision the player makes may change the outcomes of certain events greatly.
Gameplay details are somewhat sparse at the moment. However, the trailer does showcase some brief gameplay footage. From the footage, it can be gathered that the game will be played from a third-person perspective with a healthy amount of alien combat. Be sure to keep an eye out for more details on Exodus.
