The longstanding action RPG series from Square Enix, Mana, is finally receiving a brand new entry, Visions of Mana! The last entries we got were a remake of Trials of Mana and the mobile game Echoes of Mana (shutdown). So, a new entry coming off of the successful remake makes sense!
Visions of Mana
Visions of Mana got a gorgeous reveal trailer at The Game Awards 2023. The trailer introduces the first brand new entry in 15 YEARS for the Mana series, showcasing heartfelt music, lush environments, and action RPG gameplay. The trailer shows new twists on Mana’s RPG combat and much wider, more explorable environments than previous entries. Take control of the new protagonist, Val, to help him protect his childhood friend to restore the flow of mana to the world!
Release Window and Platforms
The game doesn’t have an exact release date, however, it is targeting a 2024 window! The game is coming to PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. So, despite Trials of Mana getting a Switch release, looks like Visions of Mana will not. Sorry Switch fans.
