    Sonic Frontiers Update 1.41 Now Live With Gameplay Adjustments

    Bug fixes and changes as well.

    SEGA have released Sonic Frontiers update 1.41 featuring gameplay adjustments and bug fixes. This is the first update following the launch of The Final Horizon update, which served as the culmination to the Sonic Frontiers story.

    The Final Horizon update for Sonic Frontiers introduced new playable characters, stages, and a new story scenario on September 28. Just two months later, Sonic Frontiers made its debut on the Epic Games Store. The game receives a new update that adjusts a few lingering issues from The Final Horizon. 

    Sonic Frontiers Update 1.41 Patch Notes

    The latest update for Sonic Frontiers makes various gameplay adjustments, including a wider window for the Perfect Parry mechanic. King Koco’s trial will have more rings going forward, and Knuckles’ turning power while gliding has been increased.

    Here are patch notes for Sonic Frontiers update 1.41 (Thanks, Sonic Stadium): 

    • Changes level design for towers
    • Pink panels will respawn after certain amount of time/distance
    • Perfect Parry has more generous timing, especially in easy mode
    • King Koco’s trial has more rings, adjusted Titan strength
    • Default difficulty & Sonic’s attack power adjusted in 4 master trials.
    • Knuckles has increased turning power while gliding.
    • When Amy, Tails & Knuckles are leveled up, the attack and defense parameters of certain techniques will be increased.
    • The timer will now reset if the player dies in a cyberspace stage without hitting a checkpoint
    • Fixed a glitch that caused audio to not play in certain sub events

    Those wanting to listen to the tunes of The Final Horizon may now do so with Sonic Frontiers Expansion Soundtrack Paths Revisited, which is now available to stream digitally on several music streaming services. The soundtrack features a total of 46 songs, including bonus tracks from The Final Horizon update.

    Lastly, Sonic Frontiers is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
