Mortal Kombat: Onslaught New Update Details (Updated)
UPDATE: The December 7 Mortal Kombat: Onslaught update has been delayed to a later date, and more details are coming soon.
Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios revealed that Mortal Kombat: Onslaught will be getting a new update. On December 7, Shang Tsung will be added the game. He will be one of five 5-Star Fighters to be added to the game in the coming weeks. Additionally, a new story chapter will be available soon, alongside a new Khronicle Event.
Shang Tsung (MK1) is a Ranged Support 5-star character that can toss flaming skulls, conjure venom with his Special Ability, and synergize in a team with MK1 Scorpion. Until December 21, players can battle through the limited-time Khronicle Event: Pursuit as Shang Tsung attempts to save his own soul. MK1 Shang Tsung may be used as a teammate in story-based encounters, and players can uncover more of the game’s lore before adding the character to their roster.
The next-5 star character will be released on December 21 after the Khronicle Event: Pursuit ends. While waiting for the new character, players may progress through a new Story chapter with the latest update. 3-Star Melee Assassin Jade goes on a mission to save Princess Kitana. She will automatically become a permanent fighter once players begin chapter 5. When the new update arrives, players can also expect 50 Chasm battles, various sign-in fights, and a powerful new Relic.
Mortal Kombat Onslaught is available now on iOS and Android.
