SEGA confirms Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board will release on April 26, 2024 worldwide for Nintendo Switch, and physical pre-orders are now available. In addition, a new trailer has been released featuring gameplay on two of the game’s boards, which use locations from the Demon Slayer series.
Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Sweep the Board was originally announced shortly after the Aniplex Online Fest 2023 event this past September. SEGA confirmed that it would publish the new game in 2024, and the latest trailer confirms the April 26 release date while giving fans another look into the Mario Party-style title.
Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Sweep the Board Pre-Orders
SEGA reveals that a physical standard edition of Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Sweep the Board will be sold. Pre-orders are available at participating retailers, and digital pre-orders will be available at a later date. A new trailer was released to confirm physical pre-orders went live, and two new boards were revealed.
Board Two will feature Tsuzumi Mansion and Mount Natagumo, and “Board Three” is set on the Mugen Train itself. Several minigames are available on each board, and players may battle against demons on these stages. Some of these minigames include Sneaky Sword Styling, Tanjiro’s Total Concentration Training, Team Memory Matching, and Knock ‘Em Out! Chanbara Swordplay. In some minigames, players may swing the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Con controller like the Nichirin Sword.
