A new trailer for the ongoing Shangri-La Frontier anime series reveals more characters and cast members as a new arc begins. This new arc in the story of Shangri-La Frontier is titled “A Bouquet of Flowers with Love from this World.”
Katarina began the Shangri-La Frontier web novel series on the “Let’s Be Novelists” website in May of 2017. The series grew in popularity and made its debut in Weekly Shonen Magazine just a few years later in July 2020. The anime premiered on October 1 as a two-cour series with a total of 24 episodes.
Shangri-La Frontier New Arc Cast Members
The latest trailer for Shangri-La Frontier highlights “A Bouquet of Flowers with Love from this World” arc by revealing two new characters and their respective cast members. Setsuna Amatsuki (VA: Asami Seto) is an NPC that knows the secrets of Wezaemon the Tombguard (VA: Sho Hayami). Wezaemon is one of the unique monsters of the Seven Strongest Species. These two characters may be seen in the upper half of the new key visual, which was uploaded to the anime’s official website.

New episodes of the Shangri-La Frontier anime series air weekly on Sundays at 5 p.m. JST in Japan across MBS and TBS networks. Fans outside of Japan may watch the Shangri-La Frontier anime on Crunchyroll. A total of 12 episodes will be released in the first and second cours in this 24-episode run. The second cour will premiere sometime in 2024.
