SEGA announced the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and Frame Arms Girl collaboration is now live. Players may also fight powerful new Dread Enemies to earn enticing rewards.
Frame Arms is an original robot model kit series created by Kotobukiya. Users attack the outer parts (armor) to the core body (Frame Architect) to build robots of various designs. As the name suggests, Frame Arms Girl is a spin-off with bishoujo versions of unit with highly customizable sets. Phantasy Star Online 2 : New Genesis players may obtain cosmetics inspired by Kotobukiya’s successful model kit line starting today.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis x Frame Arms Girl
The Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and Frame Arms Girl collaboration features cosmetics based on the real-world HRESVELGR=ATER model kit. Players can customize with CAST Parts, suits, and accessories from the limited time AC Scratch Ticket. What’s more, many other collab items are available for free via the login bonus, including Weapon Camo, Emotes, and Build Parts.
The collaboration coincides with the launch of the November 22 update, which features the Starless Halvaldi Vera boss. This particular boss appears on the mysterious floating island above as players fight off Dread Enemies in Rwh Maqead. Halvaldi Vera and level 82 Dread Enemies will drop a new mineral called Dread Scales. These Dread Scales can be exchanged for the new 9-star Rarity Melek weapon series via the Dread Scale Exchange in the Item Exchange Shop.
This Rarity Melek weapon series is an upgraded version of the popular 5-star Rarity Relik series. Although the weapons look the same, the Melek series is more powerful and capable of different Potentials into Multi-weapons. At a very low drop rate, Halvaldi Vera might also drop weapons from the 10-star Rarity Flugelgard series.
Lastly, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store, Windows, and Steam.
