The staff of the upcoming anime, Metallic Rouge, have revealed a special music clip for the series. The series will premiere in January 2024.
At the time of writing, the anime’s staff has revealed little information about Metallic Rouge‘s story. According to Anime News Network, the story takes place in a “tech-noir” setting where humans and androids coexist. The anime will feature elements of both sci-fi and fantasy. More information will likely surface in the coming weeks.
Metallic Rouge Special Music Clip
The official Twitter/X and YouTube for the upcoming anime posted a special music clip for Metallic Rouge, titled “Crimson Lightning.” The anime’s music composer Taisei Iwasaki composed the music and wrote the lyrics for “Crimson Lightning.” 10GAUGE produced the clip and BONES was in charge of the animation. Additionally, Yume Miyamoto stars as the lead character, Rouge Redmaster. Tomoyo Kurosawa co-stars as her partner, Naomi Orthmann.
Metallic Rouge is unique in that it is one of the few anime being released in the next few months that isn’t based on an existing manga property. Story details are scarce as a result. Further details will likely surface soon.
Lastly, Metallic Rouge will premiere in January. The series will air on Fuji TV’s +Ultra block and premiere on Crunchyroll alongside it. At the time of writing, an English dub has not yet been confirmed. The anime’s staff will likely reveal more information on the series’ English release, story, and characters over the next few months.
