Bar Stella Abyss Comes to Consoles in February 2024

Bar Stella Abyss is a new roguelike strategy RPG that allows players to strengthen their party with the power of constellations. In addition, players may explore a dungeon in another world that changes every time its entered. The story will progress as players share drinks with patrons and enjoy conversations at the bar aptly named Stella Abyss.

Stella Abyss is hidden away in the corner of the city. The protagonist, Wanderer, is tired out and guided by a flyer to open the bar. Shortly after, the protagonist falls asleep while drinking a cocktail at the bar. After waking up to an unfamiliar voice, a mysterious creature appears in mid-air along with a scene of blooming flowers. Robbed of their face and arm, the protagonist is now in the Drunken World.

When encountering monsters in the Drunken World, the game shifts into a tile-based map with turn-based strategy RPG battles. Moreover, players must choose their actions while paying attention to enemy weakness, placement, and terrain effects. While exploring, players obtain Stella, the power of the constellations. These Stella may be set to a character’s skill, and Stella may be enhanced to gain several bonuses.

At Stella Abyss, Wanderer may gain the aid of patrons by striking up conversations and reaching an understanding of their feelings. Players must pace Wanderer’s drinking or else he could end up in the Drunken World, however. Coincidentally, Stella Abyss’ cocktails can provide useful effects that will aid Wanderer in the Drunken World.
