One of the unique characters you can recruit in Star Ocean: TSSR is the wildlife expert Noel.
Character Recruitment Basics
There are a few basics of character recruitment to keep in mind on your adventure.
- You can only have a maximum party size of 8 total characters
- Most characters are recruited from Sub Events and Private Actions. Be sure to refer to your map often in order to stay as up-to-date as possible.
- There are a couple of characters that are only available to one of the two protagonists. So choose wisely in order to get who you really want!
- Some characters require you to decline another character’s offer to join you in order to get.
As long as you remember these basics, it’ll be a cinch to get what characters you want. However, sometimes there are extra requirements that you must complete in order to complete the recruitment process.
How to Recruit Noel – Star Ocean: The Second Story R
MINOR STORY SPOILERS AHEAD
You will meet Noel during the course of the story, however, it is towards the back end of the game. You will leave Expel and go to Nede. After doing many story events here, you will require the help of Noel to continue forward. He will send you to the Red Crystal Cave where many strong monsters and a tough boss fight lie. After the events here, he will ask to join you.
