PlayStation has announced that pre-orders for their upcoming Pulse Elite headphones and Pulse Explore earbuds will begin on November 9. The Explore earbuds will launch on December 6 and the Elite headphones will launch on February 21, 2024.
The newest PlayStation Pulse Headphones and Earbuds will release alongside the upcoming PlayStation Portal. The Portal will launch on November 15 for $199.99. The console will only work through Wi-Fi. Both the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore will work with the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation Portal.
PlayStation Pulse Explore and Elite Releasing in December and February, Respectively
The PlayStation Pulse Elite and Explore will go up for pre-order on November 9. The Pulse Elite will launch for $199.99 on February 21, while the Explore will launch on December 6 for $149.99. PlayStation released a new trailer commemorating the announcement. Check it out below:
The initial August 2023 announcement describes each product as follows:
- Pulse Elite is our new wireless headset that offers lossless audio and comes with a retractable boom mic and AI-enhanced noise rejection capable of filtering background sounds. A charging hanger is also included with the product for a convenient charging and storage option.”
- “Pulse Explore is our first set of wireless earbuds, providing a premium portable audio experience with dual microphones and AI-enhanced noise rejection capable of filtering background sounds. It also offers lossless audio and comes with a charging case.”
Additionally, a PlayStation Link USB Adapter allowing for better Bluetooth connectivity will be available with both the earbuds and headset. Further, consumers can buy the adapter seperately for $24.99 starting on December 6.
The earbuds, headset, and adapter will be available in the following markets: the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Other markets will be confirmed at a later date.
Lastly, pre-orders for both the PlayStation Pulse Elite and Explore headphones will begin on November 9. The Elite will launch on February 21 while the Explore will launch on December 6.
