    Teasing Master Takagi-san Spin-Off Manga Announced

    The latest issue of Monthly Shonen Sunday announced that a spin-off manga of Teasing Master Takagi-san will launch next month. The manga is titled Teasing Master Nishikata-san.

    Teasing Master Takagi-san by Sōichirō Yamamoto entered serialization in Shogakukan’s Gessan mini booklet in 2013. The booklet is available in issues of Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine. Three years later, Teasing Master Takagi-san would formally debut in Monthly Shonen Sunday in 2016. An anime was released in 2018 on Netflix, Crunchyroll, Funimation, and HIDIVE.

    The spin-off manga of Teasing Master Takagi-san, titled Teasing Master Nishikata-san, will release in the November issue of Monthly Shonen Sunday. The final issue of the main manga released today as part of the magazine’s October issue. Additionally, writer Yamamoto’s next manga is currently in development.

    The original manga is available in its entirety on Yen Press. They describe it as follows:

    Middle schooler Nishikata has had it with his classmate Takagi–the chronic teaser who sits nearby. Day in and day out, she comes after him with every sort of trick or prank. Even when he tries to get her back, she’s always one step ahead. But rest assured, it’s only the beginning. He’s not about to give up that easily in this battle of cunning and youth!

    Additionally, the anime is available on Netflix, Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, and Funimation. Three seasons are available. At the time of writing, the anime’s staff have not yet confirmed when the fourth season will release. A live-action adaptation will premiere on Netflix in March 2024. Little information about the upcoming adaptation is known. Netflix will likely reveal more information in the coming months.

    Lastly, the spin-off of Teasing Master Takagi-san, Teasing Master Nishikata-san, will release next month in Monthly Shonen Sunday’s November issue. The anime and manga are available now for those looking to catch up before the spin-off’s release.
