D3 Publisher announced that Earth Defense Force 6 is finally coming to the west in spring 2024 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The news comes just a few weeks after D3 Publisher confirmed that the game would be released in English in Asian markets.
Earth Defense Force celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2023, and over five million copies have been sold in the franchise up to this point. The new Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 game was announced as an anniversary title, and fans will finally be able to play Earth Defense Force 6 soon in English.
Earth Defense Force 6 Comes to the West in English
D3 Publisher confirms that Earth Defense Force 6 will be released in spring 2024 in the west for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. An Epic Games Store version will release sometime afterwards according to the latest press release. Moreover, a new trailer was published by D3 Publisher to excite fans for the English release.

Earth Defense Force 6 picks up three years after the events of its predecessor in the year 2027. The survivors continue their efforts to rebuild against the Primers, but threats to the world’s safety remain. The Earth Defense Force (EDF) is once again called upon to protect the planet from the aggressive extraterrestrial invaders.
Key features include an all-new storyline, the return of Ranger, Air Raider, Wing Diver, and Fencer classes, alongside an enormous amount of new content, including hundreds of additional missions and weapons. Players will also be able to fight through Earth Defense Force 6 as a two-player co-op experience with split-screen or online co-op with up to four players.

Earth Defense Force 6 first launched for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on August 25, 2022 in Japan.
